Amazed by the "Basic Programming" steps of K17 Freshmen of Information Technology Faculty

Choosing to study Information Technology and Computer Science is the dream and expectation of many students when they are still in high school. The attraction of computer science majors is formed by the desire to conquer the heights of technology, the desire to create computer products, and have good job opportunities. These are smart and very reasonable choices. In order for new students to have the most effective start with the major "Basic Programming", to nurture their passion for Information Technology, teachers and students of the Faculty have creative and extremely effective methods.
Leaving high school and family, new students of K17 Information Technology must switch from the learning method of high school students to the learning method of university students, which inevitably leads to certain confusion. Many students are worried and anxious when they encounter difficulties in overcoming problems in grasping lessons, doing exercises with the requirement of autonomy in researching documents, practicing programming on computers at university level.
The enthusiasm for programming and exploring the world of computers of the new students of K17, Faculty of Information Technology, is being pushed higher than ever and is being accelerated right from the first class. At the beginning of the school year, the students are exposed to the subject "Basic Programming", guided by experienced, enthusiastic lecturers who are passionate about inspiring each student.
Through various methods, the Basic Programming course helps students practice with the C++ programming language, practice through practical calculation problems, close to everyday life. It is the specific measures in terms of content, exercise library and tutoring of lecturers and students that have further urged them to find more diverse measures so that they can freely explore the world of computers, the world of programming for teachers. Some of the measures that are becoming the hottest on the K17 programming forum can be listed as follows.
Rapid response team for teaching assistants and programming support
This is a group of students selected from the upper classes (years 2, 3 and 4) of the Information Technology department, consisting of over 30 members, whose job is to directly support the classroom with the lecturers in tutoring the programming of the new students of K17.

Using the Facebook social networking platform, forums supporting experience sharing, discussion, and questions and answers on programming issues were established by the Faculty of Information Technology, such as the group “Programming - DNU”, the group “Write code until the last breath” attracting nearly 5,000 members to participate and discuss. The excitement in the groups started from the content of each lesson and the collection of exercises in class, assigned and oriented by lecturers. All questions were discussed and anchored by experienced people and finally by the lecturer in charge.

Timely honoring, encouraging and motivating students to complete their assignments well and have a passion for programming is also a measure to promptly detect factors and create better motivation for them to strive. After 3 weeks of enrollment, which are also 3 weeks of programming, many students have been honored for their programming achievements each week, the list is getting longer and the results are showing more clearly the talent, ability and passion of each student.

The "Basic Programming" run-up of the new students of K17 - Faculty of Information Technology after 3 weeks of study has been launched and accelerated spectacularly. The result is an unprecedentedly strong movement and quality, the students always have the best environment to study and demonstrate their energy in conquering the peak of the programming world, the computer world.
