Admissions 2023: Increase your chances of admission to Dai Nam University with 04 admission methods

With the goal of selecting candidates with sufficient qualities, abilities, and suitability for the specific characteristics of training programs (domestic and international); maximizing the chances of university admission for candidates, helping young people have the opportunity to pursue their favorite majors, in the 2023 - 2024 school year, Dai Nam University (DNU) will enroll full-time university students in 24 training majors according to 04 admission methods.

By 2023, Dai Nam University will have 32,000 students; 20,000 students have graduated; more than 12,000 students are studying in all training systems.

Candidates admitted by any method will receive the same training program.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Hong - Principal said: These are 4 independent admission methods. Candidates admitted by any admission method will study the same training program, teaching staff, enjoy the same environment... and the same facilities.

To increase the chances of being admitted to their favorite major, candidates can apply all or choose 1 of the following 4 admission methods:

Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

100% of students are connected with jobs after graduation. In many professions, students have jobs and stable income while still in school.

Method 2: Use the results of 03 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration. Specifically:

• For Medicine and Pharmacy, candidates must have a grade 12 academic record of Excellent or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 24 points.
• For Nursing, candidates must have a grade 12 academic record of Good or higher or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher and a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination of ≥ 19.5 points.
• For the remaining majors, candidates must have a total score of 3 subjects according to the admission combination ≥ 18 points.

Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.

In addition to the general condition that candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent, candidates must meet one of the regulations on direct admission specified in Article 8 of the University Admissions Regulations of Dai Nam University.

Method 4: Admission of foreign high school graduates.

In addition to the general condition that candidates must graduate from high school or equivalent as above, candidates applying for admission must meet the mandatory condition of graduating from high school abroad or in Vietnam. Based on the candidate's high school study results, the Principal of Dai Nam University will consider and decide on admission.

Important university admissions timelines that candidates and parents need to remember

• From July 5 to July 11: Provide additional accounts for candidates who have graduated from high school or college but do not have an account to register for admission on the system.
• From July 5 to 5:00 p.m. on July 25: Register and adjust admission wishes (unlimited number of times) within the prescribed time.
• July 20: Announcement of the threshold to ensure input quality for teacher training majors and health majors with practice certificates.

• From August 9 to 5:00 p.m. August 12: Process applications on the system to determine the highest application among the applications for which the candidate is eligible to be admitted.
