Admissions 2020: Dai Nam University has 03 new majors

In the 2020-2021 school year, Dai Nam University will enroll 3 new majors, including: Medicine; Oriental Studies - majoring in Japanese Studies; Korean Language and Culture.

Dai Nam University has fully prepared the conditions to ensure the organization of medical training.

Sharing about the policy of opening new training majors, Mr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal said: In the development strategy of Dai Nam University until 2025, with a vision to 2030, the school especially focuses on improving the quality of training and expanding new majors according to the actual needs of society based on the foundation of potential experience; staff, lecturers; and the school's available facilities.

With a strategic vision of the development trend as well as the open job opportunities of the fields of Medicine; Oriental Studies - majoring in Japanese Studies; Korean Language and Culture, Dai Nam University has developed a Project to open these majors and submitted it to the competent authorities. After a rigorous process of assessing the capacity of educational institutions and training programs, Dai Nam University has been officially permitted by the Ministry of Education and Training to train 03 undergraduate majors: Medicine, Oriental Studies - majoring in Japanese Studies and Korean Language and Culture from the 2020-2021 school year.

The Faculty of Medicine, Dai Nam University has a modern infrastructure system, ensuring that learning goes hand in hand with practice right at school.

With nearly 10 years of experience in organizing training in the health sector, the University has fully prepared the conditions to ensure training in the medical sector. The Faculty of Medicine has been invested in building a synchronous structure from the organizational structure, training program, staff - lecturers, system of laboratories, practice, clinical practice system at major hospitals in Hanoi, learning resources...

Dai Nam University signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish the Faculty of Oriental Studies - majoring in Japanese Studies with the Japanese Language Association for Non-Chinese Language Countries (JLAN).

Regarding Oriental Studies – Japanese Studies major, Dai Nam University advocates training in-depth foundational knowledge of Japanese language and culture (Meeting Japanese N2 standard – International Certificate of Japanese proficiency). Students are proficient in the four skills of listening – speaking – reading – writing Japanese right from when they are still in school.

In addition, students also learn and equip themselves with knowledge about Japanese culture, country and people. After graduation, students are completely confident to work in all different fields related to Japan.

Students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese Studies major at Dai Nam University study with native speakers from the first semester and continuously throughout the course.

The Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese Studies major regularly organizes scientific seminars on Japanese language education with the participation of leading experts in the field of Japanese language and culture.

In addition to the necessary professional knowledge and skills, students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - majoring in Japanese Studies also have the opportunity to experience internships and work from 6 months to 12 months at large enterprises in Japan with attractive salaries. In particular, 100% of students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies are introduced to jobs by the Faculty and have jobs after graduation.

Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University and Mr. Steve Bui signed a cooperation agreement on Korean language training at Daewoo Hotel. 

With the major of Korean Language and Culture, Dai Nam University determines to train bachelors in Korean Language and Culture in the direction of translation - interpretation, commerce and tourism. The training program is built on the advice of the Scientific Council, which are Professors, Associate Professors, and leading doctors from major universities, such as: University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU, University of Foreign Languages - VNU, Hanoi University, ... with the advice of Mr. Hangrok Cho and Ms. Park Sun Young of Sangmyung University - Korea.
