Hanoi Medical University: Accepting applications for medical students with a total score of 3 subjects Math, Chemistry, Biology of over 21 points, bachelor's students must have a score of 18 points or higher. The school also sets additional standards: the average score of 3 subjects Math, Chemistry, Biology in 5 semesters of high school for students graduating this year and 6 semesters for students graduating in 2014 must be 6.5 or higher.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology: Candidates applying for admission must have an average score of 20 points or higher for 6 semesters of high school in 3 subjects. The school will check this condition based on the high school transcript (original) of the admitted candidate when coming to the school to complete the admission procedures. The school will establish the standard score and consider admission by group of majors.

Academy of Journalism and Communication: accepts applications from candidates with high school academic results of 6.0 or higher, good conduct for 3 years or higher, and average score of national high school exams of 6.0 or higher on a 10-point scale.
Hanoi University: Admission is based on the results of the national high school exam. Accordingly, candidates with a total score of 15 points or higher in the three subjects of Math, Literature, and Foreign Language of this exam (on a 10-point scale, without multiplying the coefficient) can submit an application for admission.
Admission will be based on the training program that the candidate has registered for in advance. The total score for admission includes priority points (if any) and the score of the main exam multiplied by a factor of 2. The list is publicly announced and ranked from high to low. Candidates who have passed their first choice are not allowed to register for admission in the following admission rounds.
During the time limit of this admission round, candidates have the right to change their registered major or withdraw their application to apply to another school.
Candidates have the right to apply for admission to any major that still has vacancies in the next admission rounds if they have not passed their first choice.
Academy of Finance: Admission is based on each major. The admission score for each major must be at least 2 points higher than the input quality assurance threshold of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Academy directly admits candidates according to the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; Directly admits candidates with a total score of 27 points or higher in 3 subjects of the national high school exam, including Math, excluding priority points.
National Economics University: Admission is based on each major. The admission score for each major must be at least 2 points higher than the input quality assurance threshold of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In addition to implementing direct admission according to the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the school also directly admits candidates with 3 national high school exam subjects, including Math and 2 other subjects, achieving 27 points or higher, excluding priority points.
Preliminary conditions do not apply to direct admission candidates and candidates taking the transfer exam from the School's regular college system to university.
Foreign Trade University: Only pre-selection students with an average GPA of 6.5 or higher in grades 10, 11, and 12, and academic conduct of each year of high school from good or higher.
Hanoi National University: Using 1 Competency Assessment test for university admission.
Candidates will take the multiple-choice test directly on the computer. For foreign languages, candidates will take the multiple-choice test on the multiple-choice answer sheet. The Competency Assessment test consists of 140 multiple-choice questions. The test time (default on the computer) is 195 minutes.
The test consists of 3 separate parts with different time limits for each part because candidates have to do each part in turn. They are part 1 - quantitative thinking (Math knowledge), part 2 - qualitative thinking (Literature knowledge) and part 3 with 2 contents: Quantitative thinking 2 (Natural Science) and Qualitative thinking 2 (Social Science).
Candidates must score 70 points or more (over 140 points) to have the opportunity to be admitted to member schools of Hanoi National University.
