Innovative methods Training, integrating skills subjects related to the major into the main training program, helping students develop professional skills right from when they are still in the classroom is being promoted by Dai Nam University in the 2015-2016 school year. With that purpose, many faculties in the school have continuously organized extracurricular activities, seminars on specialized skills training for students. At the same time, on November 28, 2015, the Accounting - Auditing Training and Consulting Center, Faculty of Accounting, Dai Nam University organized a seminar "Update tax policy in 2015 and risk management when settling taxes". The topic of the seminar is a topical issue not only for businesses but also an important issue in the accounting profession of university students .
The workshop attracted the participation of many accounting faculty members and students.
Attending the workshop were Mr. Nguyen My Duc - Senior Expert of Vinh Phuc Provincial Tax Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan - Chief Accountant - CFO - Collier International Company - EVN Tower, along with many delegates who are directors and accountants representing 15 enterprises, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Accounting, Dai Nam University. In particular, the program also had the participation of more than 20 students from a number of universities in Hanoi.
Attending the program, Mr. Nguyen My Duc shared with teachers and students two issues: 1. Update new points on VAT and principles of deductible VAT from 2015; 2. Update new points on corporate income tax (CIT) and personal income tax (PIT) in 2015. These are very practical and necessary things for students majoring in accounting and auditing.

In a serious but also very open atmosphere from the sharing of experts, it helped business leaders, teachers and students understand the correct position and role of accounting as a financial management tool, accounting is not a tool to deal with taxes. In addition, everyone also understood more deeply the tax policies that took effect in 2015 and the secrets to hedge against risks when settling taxes, thereby helping businesses properly implement the State's tax policies and laws.

After a working day, the workshop demonstrated that the innovation of the training program, including hard skills and soft skills subjects in the main training program of Dai Nam University will create a solid foundation to help students feel confident when interviewing for jobs.
