On the morning of February 25, 2025, at Dai Nam University, the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025) was not only an event of gratitude but also a strong affirmation: DNU not only trains people with medical degrees, but also trains real physicians.

The most touching moment of the ceremony was when words of gratitude were sent to the teachers - those who have silently trained, inspired passion, and guided each generation of students into the harsh but also extremely noble medical profession.

That fire not only burns in lectures and practice hours, but also burns in the hearts of each student. A fire that not only warms but is also strong enough to ignite their will, foster their courage, and urge them to stand firm in the midst of long shifts, in the midst of life-and-death decisions, in the midst of challenges that the medical profession never ceases to pose.

Dai Nam University's commitment: Not to train "paper" doctors

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Dai Nam University, emphasized: "DNU does not train doctors and pharmacists who are only good at theory but are confused when facing patients. We commit that graduates will not only have knowledge but also have enough courage to practice their profession firmly."

That commitment is not only expressed in words, but is proven by the system of modern practice rooms and laboratories, by close cooperation programs with major hospitals, by the first stressful night shifts, by every drop of sweat in the simulated operating room.

And most importantly, with the belief that every student majoring in Health Sciences graduating from Dai Nam University can be proud of themselves, proud of the path they have chosen.

The celebration was not only a show of gratitude, but also a stage for students of the Health sector to express themselves. The medical, pharmacy and nursing situational competitions were not only a competition of knowledge, but also a test of courage. Each situation, each question put them under the same pressure that they would one day have to face.

But there was no fear, no hesitation. There was only confidence, calmness, acumen – the qualities that make a true physician.
