60% of final year students have jobs immediately, how does Dai Nam "recover" the remaining 40%?

According to a survey by the Center for Student Employment and Entrepreneurship at Dai Nam University (DNU), 60% of final year students (K14) have found suitable jobs and are just waiting to receive their diplomas to complete the application procedures with businesses. Notably, many students have official jobs at businesses right from their third year of university. However, 40% of students still have difficulty finding suitable jobs and that is the "mission" of the Center for Student Employment and Entrepreneurship.

Finding the reason why 60% of DNU final year students have jobs right after graduation

“Training 100% of graduates to have good jobs and be good citizens” is the policy and commitment of Dai Nam University over the years. And it is a great pride that this year, 60% of final year students have connected with jobs even before receiving their diplomas. Why has Dai Nam achieved such results?

- The training program teaches core issues, maximizes experience between learning and business practice; helps students easily grasp knowledge, and have the skills to apply theory to practice.

There are currently more than 300 pharmacists from Dai Nam University working at FPT Long Chau, 25% of whom are holding important positions.

- Promote business cooperation to "welcome businesses to training schools, send students to businesses for practice, internships and recruitment".

Focus all resources on job creation for 40% of final year students

With the goal of 100% of students having jobs after graduation, Dai Nam University has assigned the "Student Employment and Entrepreneurship" Center to support and connect students with employers; thoroughly solving jobs for 40% of final year students.

Specifically:

+ Conduct an in-depth survey of 40% of final year students who do not have suitable jobs to understand their difficulties and desires, thereby providing timely and appropriate support solutions.

+ Continue to promote cooperation with businesses to provide supplementary training skills for final year students (CV writing, interviewing, teamwork, office computer skills, etc.).

+ Annually organize Student Job Fair, creating a bridge for final year students and businesses to find each other.

This year, at the 2024 Ha Dong District Job Consultation and Trading Session held at Dai Nam University, nearly 500 final year students were confident and proactive in "negotiating" jobs, salaries and successfully "closing deals" with employers.

The session gathered 100 businesses with nearly 13,000 job vacancies – a golden opportunity for DNU students to affirm their abilities to employers.

+ At the end of June 2024, the DNU Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Center will continue to organize the Mini Job-Fair program by industry group to thoroughly solve the employment problem for the remaining final year students.

Enterprises highly appreciate the professional capacity; interview skills; and the eagerness to learn of Dai Nam University students.

+ In addition, the Center also supports CV review and daily job connection for students through channels: Directly at the center, website, fanpage, Zalo group by industry.

+ In particular, teachers of the faculties also thoroughly participated in connecting jobs for final year students.
