The Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Team was established in 2007, is one of the core units of the University Youth Union, gathering outstanding faces in studying, dynamic, enthusiastic and having a high sense of responsibility for volunteer activities for the community of the University.

DNU student volunteers are one of the core parts of the Youth Union.
Sharing with us, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal, Head of the Movement Department said: " To develop a comprehensive person, in addition to the right training philosophy, clear development goals, excellent training programs, excellent teaching staff, modern facilities, new and effective approaches to students..., students need to participate and experience practical activities, including volunteer activities for the community. Volunteer activities not only help students gain practical experience but also help them learn lessons about love, sharing with the less fortunate in society, educating awareness and sense of responsibility to the community... This is the reason why the School always cares and creates favorable conditions for the Youth Union to develop the Student Volunteer Team..."

The green volunteer shirt of Dai Nam University leaves its mark on many roads of the Fatherland.
Not only conveying humane and meaningful messages to the social community, Dai Nam University Student Volunteer Club is also a "common home" for all students in the school, helping to unite members, educate awareness, responsibility and help young people learn lessons about empathy, love and sharing in life.

“ When talking about the success of the School Youth Union movement, we cannot fail to mention the active support of the Student Volunteer Team. This is the main, core team, contributing from AZ to all activities and events of the School…” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Secretary of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University.
Any activity or event of the Youth Union or the School always has the presence of the green volunteer shirt. The members of the Team are always enthusiastic and ready to devote themselves from the preparation stage until the end. Specifically:
Green Summer Campaign:
Through 6 Green Summer seasons, the DNU Student Volunteer Team has traveled together to many parts of the country such as Ha Giang, Son La, Thanh Hoa, Bac Giang, etc., eating, staying and working with the locals, helping children study and play. Each trip is an unforgettable experience filled with memorable memories and lessons that help students grow up.
“The Green Summer Campaign is one of the special highlights in the volunteer activities of Dai Nam University. This is an extremely meaningful activity, a series of social activities with profound humanity, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and enthusiasm of youth…”, comrade Dang Vu Tuan Anh - Deputy Secretary of the University Youth Union confided.

“Warm Winter Love” includes a series of activities such as: Warm Wool, Warm Porridge, Love Cake, Scrap Campaign, Dai Nam Bookcase... This is one of the annual activities of the Youth Union every winter. Through 3 warm winters, the Student Volunteer Team has shared the cold and brought warmth to many individuals and families in difficult circumstances in many provinces and cities of many countries.

Every university entrance exam season, the streets of Hanoi are filled with green shirts, including the volunteer green shirts of Dai Nam University. The green shirts do not mind the sun or rain, using all their abilities and strength to help students and their parents during the exam season, from submitting application documents, transportation, accommodation during the exam days and admission.

Activity "Collecting waste in public places"
After 4 years of maintenance and organization, this activity has attracted more than 2,000 students to participate in collecting waste in public places such as West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake, Thu Le Park... contributing to educating students' awareness and conveying the message of environmental protection to millions of people in society.
Voluntary blood donation
With the motto “every drop of blood given, a life remains ”, the Volunteer Student Team of Dai Nam University always devotes itself to this meaningful volunteer activity. Through voluntary blood donation campaigns, the Volunteer Student Team has contributed thousands of units of blood to the national blood bank. Not only actively participating in donating blood to save lives, the young people of Dai Nam University also organize many meaningful activities to help call on students inside and outside the school to participate in the blood donation festival.

Every year, the Team will set aside a day to celebrate the Team’s Birthday, create a playground to connect members and show gratitude to members who are about to graduate. It is like a greeting, a sincere thank you to those who came before, those who did not hesitate to work hard to lay a solid foundation for the Team. In that anniversary party, there are tears, smiles, moments of remembrance… so that members can understand and be closer to each other.
