At the invitation of the Yatsushiro city government, Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh - representative of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major, Dai Nam University in Japan, together with Mr. Vu Binh - Consul General of Vietnam in Fukuoka, had an official visit and working session with the city.

During the visit and work in Yatsushiro city, Kumamoto province, representatives of the Japanese major of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Dai Nam University connected with the city government and many local businesses on cooperation in training high-quality human resources, including receiving students for paid internships and working at Japanese businesses after graduation.

Strengthening connection and training cooperation with Japanese enterprises

At the invitation of the Yatsushiro city government, Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh - representative of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major, Dai Nam University in Japan, together with Mr. Vu Binh - Consul General of Vietnam in Fukuoka, had an official visit and working session with the city.

Welcoming the Consulate General and the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major of Dai Nam University were the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Shimada city, representatives of Japanese enterprises in the fields of high-quality agriculture and IT, and representatives of organizations in the region.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh gave an overview of Dai Nam University, the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major and the school's training cooperation and international cooperation activities, and expressed his desire to cooperate in developing high-quality human resources, including receiving paid internships and working at Japanese companies for students after graduation.

“Dai Nam University, with its strategic vision on the development trend as well as the wide-open job opportunities of Japanese studies, has signed strategic cooperation agreements with many city governments, universities, businesses, and organizations in Japan. In particular, the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major of Dai Nam University is the first training institution in Vietnam to commit to 100% of graduates having jobs and refunding 100% of the tuition fee for 4 years if students do not find a job after graduation. The establishment of the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major with a Japanese standard training program and a team of experienced Japanese lecturers is a testament to the success of the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Japan…” Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh shared.

Introduced by the city government, the delegation visited typical companies in Yatsuroshi city, Kumamoto province in the fields of agriculture, industry, import-export, information technology, etc. and was personally welcomed by the directors of Japanese companies, who presented the business models of these companies.

At the meeting, leading businesses in the city expressed their interest in students studying at the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Japanese major at Dai Nam University and wished to receive students of the Faculty to intern and work long-term in Japan after graduation.

The representative of the city government also shared that there are more than 2,000 foreigners working in large and small companies, of which Vietnamese human resources account for more than 50% of the total. The high-quality human resources of foreigners in general and Vietnam in particular have been and are contributing significantly to maintaining the stability and development of our business. Here, we also hope to train young Vietnamese people with the knowledge and technology that we have so that they can later build a more developed and modern Vietnam.
