06 excellent projects entered the final round of the "Startup with Dai Nam 2016" Competition

On September 15, 2016, the Organizing Committee of the contest "Startup with Dai Nam 2016" held the preliminary round at the Conference room, Dai Nam University, 56 Vu Trong Phung.

Following the success of the contest “Startup with Dai Nam 2015”, the contest “Startup with Dai Nam 2016” was officially launched in April 2016. After two months of launching, in June 2016, the Organizing Committee received more than 50 business ideas from teams from different universities such as National Economics University, University of Commerce, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Thai Binh University, Dai Nam University. After a period of serious research on the teams’ ideas, the Organizing Committee selected 15 projects that met the criteria of “Unique – Creative – Feasible” to enter the preliminary round.
On September 15, 2016, the Organizing Committee of the contest "Startup with Dai Nam 2016" held the preliminary round at the Conference room, Dai Nam University, 56 Vu Trong Phung.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the University, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Vice Principal of the University was delighted to welcome 15 teams from universities in the Northern region. Dr. Luong Cao Dong emphasized: “After the success of the competition “Start-up with Dai Nam 2015”, Dai Nam University continues to organize the second season with a larger scale and more professional manner. Because this year, the University is honored to be selected by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) as 1 of 5 locations to organize the competition according to the cluster of schools in the Northern region. The first prize winning team will represent the cluster of schools in the National Startup Competition.”

Members of 15 competing teams were present in full force at the preliminary round.

In this preliminary round, the teams had to present their projects to the jury. The ideas of the teams competing this year were quite diverse, covering many fields such as agriculture, e-commerce, tourism, software, transportation, etc. The jury listened to the presentations of the teams and asked questions and gave professional comments to select the 6 best projects for the final round. For that reason, the teams were all very well prepared.

The teams presented their projects to the Board of Judges.

After listening to the presentations of all the teams, the jury worked with a spirit of fairness and objectivity and selected the 6 best projects to enter the final round. Specifically as follows:
1. Project "SANVANCHUYEN - Solution to optimize Vietnam's freight transport industry" - Author group: Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang, Vu Van Thanh, National Economics University
2. Project "Production and trading of sprouts " - Author group: Nguyen Viet Ha, Tran Kim Phuong, Thai Binh University.
3. “Rolled Straw” Project - Author: Tran Thi Van Anh, Thai Binh University
4. Project "Construction and rental of rest stops for backpackers" - Author group: Le Trong Duy, Nguyen Nhat Minh Hanh, Le Thanh Tung, Dinh Thi Dieu Linh, Faculty of Banking and Finance, Dai Nam University.
5. Project “Easy Travels - Easy Travel” - Author group: Dao My Dong, Nguyen Khac Du, Hoang Manh Tien, Faculty of Information Technology, Dai Nam University.
6. Project " Chicken farm" - Author group: Vi Ngoc Ha, Bui Van Cuong, Faculty of Business Administration, Dai Nam University.

The 06 projects that made it to the final round have demonstrated the criteria of “Uniqueness - Creativity - Feasibility” of the Startup competition. The 06 teams promise to bring the audience an impressive final competition night taking place on October 18, 2016 at Dai Nam University. There is only one month left, I wish the teams to prepare well for their projects, confidently convince the judges and investors, and become talented and dynamic startups.
